1. Get Some Printing Ideas about your business like what we sell for example Visiting cards, Pamphlets, Broachers’, Later pads, Bill Books, Quotation Pads, Etc.
2. Get touch with DTP Operator for designing find out what he charge for designing.
3. Consult with offset printers try to collect some sample of Latter pads, Bill Books, leaflets, etc and ask what he charge actually the charge rupees in 1000 Impression. Its come around Rs. 45 to 60 per 1000 impression
4. Here only you get binder to bind your book make in contact get the quotation of binding, Its Depends upon size and quantity.
5. For Screen Printing you will get so many screen printers also contact them and try to get some same and their quotation they also charge in impression, Minimum 100 impression each colour get each impression.
6. Get quotation of papers, This is the main part of printing business, if you know size and quality of papers the you are perfect in this business.
Generally Paper have different Size but in common printing business the size are like :
1. Dubble Dummy 18” X 23”
2. Single Dummy 11.5” X 18”

Study the books and their paper like 1+1, 1+2, 1+3.
How to calculate coasting of books.
If you get 10 books order to print of ¼ size 1+1 one Colour then calculate like this :
1. DTP Charge, Generally for its charge Rs. 35 (Inclusive Proof and Final)
2. Paper cost in single dummy you need 1000 ¼ paper, then purchse 250 sheets S.D. ist cost Rs. 0.80 approx, And for Second copy again you need 250 S.D. Sheets its cost 0.75 approx for 500 S.D. sheets your amount is Rs. 388 approx.
3. Printing Cost for 1000 impression the charge Rs. 60 approx (Because Book is in Single Colour)
4. Binding cost for ¼ size binding they charge Rs. 10 each book approx, So your amount is Rs. 100 approx
So your costing is 35+388+60+100=Rs. 583 that’s mean each books cost Rs. 59,
What you charge to coustomer generally ¼ size single colour 1+1 books if quantity is 10 or 20 market price is Rs. 85
Here you learn if you invest Rs. 583 you get rs. 850 means your profit is Rs. 283.
